The Foundation Unidos for Compassion and Kindness is committed to upholding the legacy of Dr. Brenda Cruz, a remarkable woman whose life embodied selfless love, deep compassion, and unwavering kindness. Our mission is to carry forward her spirit of generosity, extending it to those in need and fostering a ripple effect of kindness in our community and beyond.

Our mother was an advocate for the importance of education, graduating high school at 15 and moving to America to pursue further learning. Although her personal educational journey was temporarily halted to raise her children, she persevered later in life. Achieving her Masters Degree Summa Cum Laude in Business Administration, she went on to pursue a Doctorate in Health Care Administration at the age of 58. Through our foundation, we aim to raise funds to establish a scholarship for an underprivileged or underrepresented scholar, especially mothers managing multiple responsibilities who may need additional support. Additionally, we plan to contribute to community foundations that held a special place in her heart.
